• This is the second level of our 10 levels series. In this course, you will see 57 modules including 9 on marketing, human resources and finances vocabulary, 7 verb tenses, 12 pronunciation modules and many more. This is a great second step towards learning business English.

At this level, we will see the following:

• We will review the Simple Present and Continuous verb tenses which will include, simple sentences, statements, negatives, and questions.

• Abilities, such as can, could, will be able to. We will be explaining “able to” as used in all tenses. Also, we will see the difference between ‘could’ as past of ‘can’ and as a polite version of ‘can’.

• Prepositions of time, while paying particular attention to in, on, and at

• We will see verbs of movement + preposition

• We will see the following verb tenses:

· Future tenses will and “going to”

· Simple past tense: regular + irregular verbs

· Past continuous v. Past Simple

• Comparatives and Superlatives. More precisely when to use ‘er’ v. when to use ‘more’ (also, good, better, the best, etc.)

• Comparing: as….as

• Review of 3rd person agreement Including problem areas such as “one of the…….” “Some of the…”

• Large numbers

• Contractions for both positive and negative

• A nice series on pronunciation

• Sentence structures, such as:

· Statements

· Negative sentences

· Imperative form

· Questions

· Tag questions

• And vocabulary related to work. More specifically, we will see:

· Advertising vocabulary

· Branding vocabulary

· E-marketing vocabulary

· Human resources vocabulary

· Training vocabulary

· Job hunting vocabulary

· Finance vocabulary

· Accounting vocabulary.
